CTS Cattle App 2.0
The Farming Online CTS Cattle App allowsusersto easily register changes to their cattle with the BCMSCTS(British Cattle Movement Service Cattle Tracing System) andmanagetheir cattle.Multiple holdings can be registered with the app. Once aholdingis registered, data corresponding to that holding isdownloaded tothe device. This allows users to easily see the cattlecurrently ontheir holdings. Users can then add names and notes tothesecattle.The app deals with six movement types. As well as being abletoregister Birth, Death, On and Off movements, users canalsoregister Temporary and Internal movements. Temporary movementsarefor the purpose of show days. A return time is set and theappnotifies the user at this time, automatically registering cattleashaving been moved back onto the holding. Internal movementsareused to conveniently register the movement of cattle betweentwoholdings that you own.

Farming Online's FertiliserRecommendationsCalculator provides advice on over thirty of theUK's major crops.Based on the latest edition of DEFRA's RB209FertiliserRecommendations Manual, the application takes in toconsideration awhole host of factors from soil type to previouscrop. Theapplication displays how much of all the essentialnutrients arerequired to get the best returns from your crop alongwith detailednotes on how and when applications should be made.Any organic fertilisers used can be accounted for.Theapplication includes extra features such as a standaloneorganicfertiliser calculator and soil type identifier.
